I’d like to apologize for being so MIA lately. I’ve had A LOT going on. Its like ever since Luna turned 1 things have gotten more hectic around here! How is that even possible?!
I didn’t want to leave you all hanging without seeing all the details of her FIRST birthday (which was kind of a big deal.) Just like it is for any parent!
Growing up, my brothers and I always had themed birthday parties. So of course, now that I have my own child I want each birthday to be nothing short of amazing and memorable. I don’t know how the hot air balloon theme came to mind. I just randomly saw a hot air balloon somewhere and said “Aha! This would be lovely for Luna’s party!” Now, immediately after saying that I thought “My mom will master this theme!!!” Funny right, I’m the mom throwing the party for MY BABY…yet I was relying on MY mom to hold my hand throughout the whole thing. You would think after all those years seeing her create such amazing parties, I’d have it nailed down by now… Maybe next year haha. Before I share these photos…..Again, I want to give ALL THE CREDIT TO MY WONDERFUL MOTHER. I had the idea and she brought it to life. Without her NONE of this would have been possible. Thank You Mommy!!!!
Thanks for flying on over to enjoy my birthday!
Since the party wasn’t until the 17th we still had a little celebration on February 8 her real birthday. (Yes Mike and I got cupcakes because we survived our first year of parenthood!)
She did NOT want anything to do with that cake lol
“Hey Ma’ stop being jealous and take a picture will ya?!”
“Thats more like it….look at me with my new wheels!!!!”
For anyone that knows me, knows a G Wag is MY dream car…but…my child got one instead.
“Gotta give my car kisses cause thats how much I love it!!!”
“Hold up, shoes untied, safety hazard.”
We had everyone working for Luna’s big birthday bash!
February 17, 2018
When everyone started to sing happy birthday to her she was so emotional and happy! Look at the second photo where she like grabs her heart! Awwwww
Michale let all the kids dip their grimy little fingers into Luna’s cake haha (it was actually sweet)
Time for presents! (Of course I’m ecstatic about the Tiffany Box) haha
So I was a little worried about the other kids and not knowing what ill be entreating them with (since its Luna’s 1st party theres not much activities going on.) But I decided to get chalk and that was jackpot! Kept everyone busy for hours! Mommas use this tip for your next party!
“My amazing Grandparents who worked all day and all night to create my beautiful party!!!”
Thank you everyone who came out and celebrated Luna’s big day with us!
Also, I feel like many of you have become apart of our family through this journey I’ve shared on social media. So it’s so nice seeing everyone wish her a Happy Birthday! Thank you for always loving us!
